Sick Child Visits

If you feel that your child needs to be seen in our office because of an illness, please call as early as possible in the day so that we will have more flexibility to consider your preferences for physician and time of day.  We will do our best to accommodate you. If your child is in day care, be sure to make arrangements to be informed as soon as it is determined that your child is ill and may require a sick visit. After you arrive at our office with a child who maybe contagious, please use our sick waiting room so as not to put our well children at risk for infection.

It is the policy of our office to see patients by scheduled appointments only. Appointments are available Monday through Friday during regular office hours. We are also available in the office on Saturday mornings for acute illnesses. Weekend and after hours visits do incur an additional charge.  Our scheduling is designed to allow our doctors to see patients as promptly as possible. Bringing in a child who does not have an appointment or bringing along a sibling at the last minute without informing us will almost always cause delays and create a problem for everyone else. We reserve the right to schedule such patients for a later time when we can better accommodate them. Our scheduled patients will always have first priority.
